[@niil's #niil_firstdesign] Origins of Prototype
As some already could've guessed, it's about Argenta... Again😆 But still, I'll tell the short story. As someone who started using this site primarily for the tavern feature, I had several more or less complex personas for roleplay. And when I started posting (actually, even a little before that), I was trying to make OC from two of them. Apollo went well, the other one, though... Well, I had a hard time making a decent image of what eventually became Argenta. You can see the earlier tries here, here and here. And, of course, this one picture in this post (pic 1). I liked it so much, I thought it was it! So, I tried to improve it, make it a little bit closer to what I had in mind, and used lineart controlnet... And got something completely different (pic 2). It was completely something different, random - not something I ever wanted. And I loved the result. I mean, she's so cool! Yet, still cute. Also, I just knew that I couldn't get her on purpose once again - yes, I just decided to put her away, because I didn't have enough skill with prompts. Everything in her was just too complex. Even when I was wiping the entire history a few days ago (or was it yesterday?😅), I just saved both the picture, the lineart reference, prompt, model, spells - everything. And then I came across Niil's challenge, and it just hit my head: "I actually can do it!" I mean, for real. I know everything I need. You can see the entire process of making her here (pic 3-pic 11). I made so many funny mistakes during that time (I put "blue eyes" only in the end, because I was completely assured that it was there all the time. It was like: "Why does she always have yellow eyes? I'll just have to emphasize the... Oh"🤣)
