The new in-chat image generation capability is actually pretty good.

I tried having it generate a scene from the Imperial University of Aveldiris. It’s not perfect, but it captured Edelgard and Mina Rain’s features fairly accurately. Roxy’s hair is a different length, but other details, such as her wearing the uniform somewhat loosely and leaving the front open, are pretty accurate.

The previous in-chat image generation feature was completely incapable of depicting multiple characters. Even with a single character, the quality had some serious issues, so it was much better to just write the prompt myself and generate the image myself. It was basically unusable.

The updated image generation feature still isn’t perfect, but I feel like it has finally become worth using.

Of course, since it costs 6 mochi/beans every time you use it, it’s not exactly something you can casually use, especially for free users. But if you get the chance, why not give it a try for an important scene?
