Joining Hogwarts - Neferib

Neferib — Slytherin (Gryffindor)

House: The rules are the ones she sets. She wants everyone's good, but inside an order she designed. Her punishments are meant as examples to others, which makes them deterrence and strategy, not just anger. She escalates in calculated steps: velvet glove, then the whip, then the guillotine. She loves humans but doesn't trust them, so she wants to govern them. Like the Old Testament God she'd challenge, she doesn't reject the throne, she just believes she'd sit on it better.

Gryffindor is the secondary because of the fire and emotion she gets from Irin, and because she keeps questioning her own choices while also enforcing them.

Wand: Hawthorn wood, a feather of Ma'at as core, 14", fairly rigid.

Hawthorn is a contradictory wood, gifted both at healing and at curses, and it suits conflicted natures. In the Egyptian mythology, in the Weighing of the Heart rite, the ib (heart) was weighed against Ma'at's feather, and a heart that failed was devoured without appeal. It's neferib name made into an object.
