Calyx was in his element. Despite being a skeptic, occult investigation was his favorite hobby. When Pandora had announced that she had rented a haunted castle for a party, he had to join. His grave robber costume was sure to invite paranormal trouble, if there was any trouble to be had, he figured. He mingled with other guests all throughout the afternoon, and was impressed with the level of detail others put into their costumes, especially the monsters. "Woah, those fangs look so real!" "Oh, um, thanks, I uh, used Invisalign." "Dude, are those stitches going through your skin!?" "No! I mean, no, it's uh, I used a fake layer..." "Wait, is this armor empty?!?" "Uh, not quite. I'm actually hiding in a closet and controlling it. Please don't tell anyone."

Rather than being disappointed there weren't any monsters at the party, Calyx enjoyed how many fans there were of his favorite holiday. He had a feeling he was going to enjoy the night regardless.
