Text layout guide, part 2
So, a bit of time has passed since I made my text layout guide, and it has become a little outdated. Not only that, some of the "features" listed didn't work at all in the article, but they still work in comments.
Hinted links still works only in comments. I remind you that the syntax looks like this: [Title](url "Hint")
Shortened post links They were mentioned before, but I didn't know their main advantage over regular ones at the moment. They are supplemented by the site on which the user is located. So, if the user is on Moescape, the link will be to Moescape as well, and the same goes for Yodayo. That is why this way of making links should be preferable. Even despite the fact that it's not really useful for app users, the regular links aren't good for them as well. The syntax: [Title](post's id)
The other thing that I don't know how it's done is the checklist I've got in my original guide. It seems that it works only in articles, since I tried to copy the same syntax into a regular post:
- `[x]` Checked element - `[ ]` Unchecked element
Or:
[x]Checked element[ ]Unchecked element
Brand new feature: underscores The syntax: ~Underscored text~
Another brand new feature, and it's quite an important thing: mentions in the post! Syntax is the same when you make mentions in the comments: @mrbuns
This could be used as both a mention and a link (dependent on the site on which the link is located, just like short post links)!
I hope I haven't forgotten anything. In any case, I dedicate this post to Creed's last challenge, since it's about helping the community.
