Mika looked along the light wooden shelves of Jana's Sweets with intense concentration like someone facing a life-or-death decicion. After many hours of hard work from streaming she had finally procured enough money for something completely unnecessary: her Sugar Day Fund.

An obvious twist on: Rainy Day Fund. But something she was proud of nonetheless.

"Lollipops? No wait.. it's gotta be cotton candy this time" She paused as her eyes drifted along the display of fluffy pink and blue bags. "Ugh, but chocolate too!"

Her stomach gave a tiny, traitorous rumble.

Embarrassed, she looked from side to side, watching the aisle.

"No one heard that, right?"

After a few more moments of looking, she slowly reached for a box of mini-chocolate bars.

"Just one box.. and oh, maybe some cotton candy too" her hand shifted toward the cotton candy, its pink fluff like a mountain of sugary goodness.

"C'mon Mika, gotta be responsible. You're an adult after all!" She mumbled, fighting her own inner desires.

"Why not just get one of each?"

Her eyes sparkled.

She pulled a bag of colorful lollipops from the shelf. She held all of the sweets to her chest. A little bit of dribble formed on her lip, but she didn't notice.

Mika loved spending her Sugar Day Fund. 🍭
