⚡ELECTRIC TIDE⚡

Thunder came first, not as sound but as a shape—an incandescent spiral tearing the sky into ribbons of violet and ember. The city below had already surrendered: columns bowed like tired sentinels, mosaics melted into rivers of glass, and statues wept molten bronze. At the heart of the ruin stood Velvet Rouge, a single figure with a guitar that hummed like a living wire. With each chord she struck, the vortex answered, carving new constellations into the storm and pulling memory from the rubble—snatches of laughter, the scent of rain on hot stone, the last lullaby a mother had sung before the world changed. People came like moths to the light, not to worship but to remember. They pressed their palms to the cracked pavement and felt the music travel through bone and root, rewriting grief into rhythm. As the final refrain rose, the thunder softened into a pulse, and the ruins rearranged themselves into something that might be called a beginning. Velvet Rouge lowered her instrument and smiled without triumph; the storm had not been conquered, only translated. In the hush that followed, the survivors learned to listen for the next chord, knowing that whatever came after would be shaped by the sound they chose to make.
