Haruka: “You said I'm in the United States... but I was in Japan just a few moments ago.”

Alice's ears perked up.

Alice: “...What?”

Haruka: “A strange purple rift appeared in my backyard. I stepped through it and... ended up here.”

Macy emerged from the back room, clearly annoyed.

Macy: “Alice, I told you I'm in a—”

She stopped when she noticed Haruka.

Macy: “...Who's this?”

Alice: “Portal girl! :3”

Haruka: “Please don't call me that...”

Alice: “She says she was in Japan a few minutes ago, walked through some weird purple portal, and ended up here!”

Macy stared at Haruka.

Macy: “Let's say I believe you. Some weird teleportation thing sent you from Japan to America. I've seen stranger.”

Haruka hesitated, looking at Macy's cat ears and then Alice's demon tail.

Haruka: “People like you two... are normal here?”

Macy: “Demi-humans? Yeah. Why?”

Haruka: “Because they don't exist where I'm from.”

Macy's expression changed.

Haruka: “Neither do demons or magic. They're just fiction.”

Alice looked down at herself.

Haruka: “Another dimension?”

Alice's ears perked up.

Macy: “Then let's go find it.”
