Falk began her career as a biomechanical engineer specializing in artificial musculature, joint architecture, balance systems, and the translation of human movement into large mechanical frames. Her early work focused on one of BIFROST's central engineering goals: making a Striker move like a body rather than a vehicle.

She later moved into prototype-development management, coordinating teams responsible for neural-motor interfaces, lightweight structures, propulsion systems, and artificial musculature. Her strength gradually became less about designing individual components.
