(STORY📖)slice of life/Private message

Romalin's eyes widened in shock, and she gasped softly in surprise. She put her hand to her mouth, completely taken aback by what had just happened. Then Sevatlana said

"Of course we won't kill him, my dear! We'll give him a drink of red raspberry and lotus wine." She smiled, a mischievous grin spreading across her face, and continued speaking. Romalin sighed with relief and slumped her shoulders, but she was still worried.

"Just this simple plan, don't worry. Everything is under control. I'll explain the details when he arrives! I've killed a million birds with one stone and pulled off a major deal of my life!"

A tap on the glass window made them all freeze, except for Gibanianli, who rolled her eyes. She replied,

"Don't worry, it's just a crow tapping on the window. It seems to have brought something, Mother." She pointed to the window.

" Lewiaro, Aline, and Romalin, who was sitting on the bed, all sighed with relief as they watched Gibanianli walk to the window and open the curtains. A raven entered, carrying a message or envelope in its beak.

The bird flew around the room, startling everyone. Gibanianli stood, narrowing her eyes as she looked at the raven. Who could this message be from...? she muttered to herself. I hope it's not from Professor Ranley to the suppliers of Homomines blood! She clenched her fist.

Sevatlana looked at everyone, surprised.

"Did any of you send a message and receive a reply?"

Gibanianli's eyes narrowed with barely concealed nervousness. She clasped her hands to her sides. She would be discovered if the message was an invitation to the organization.

She reached for it from the bird and said in a quiet, yet tense voice,

"Perhaps it's the college, Mother? I asked them... I think they'd review my academic record!"

Before she could reach for it, Sevatlana had already taken it and was examining it with critical eyes.
