On Jupiter [Featuring Apollo]
It shouldn't surprise me to see him actually use Jupiter's portal network, yet it did. Well, with some official arrangements in place, it was possible to receive the boy... So I met Apollo (dressed in a funny space suit) at the instantport. 🥽: "Wow, there are a lot of people there!" 🧽: "Yeah. I mean, after all, the fearsome, devastating dragon is coming this way. Everyone's leaving. So, you wanna say we can build a weapon to slay the dragon? Like, for real?" 🥽: "A plutonium dragon. That's the important part. Oh, look, that panel just disappeared! Now it appeared!" 🧽: "Oh boy..." 🥽: "The city is so advanced! How does it work? Do we fly in the atmosphere? Where do you get electricity if not from nuclear plants? Oh, is it from the planet's atmosphere as well?" 🧽: "Oh, come on! I don't know. Ask someone smarter. By the way, the governor told me that if I have something in mind that'll keep the monster from destroying our civilization, I can use the production power here to create it. Can you make, I don't know, a blueprint or something?" 🥽: "Oh yes, almost. You see, I have the works on miniature ones. I should know how your vehicles work to make a mounted cannon." 🧽: "Wait, a mounted cannon? Can't we shoot it from anywhere?" 🥽: "Not from the atmosphere. It'll disperse the neutrons too fast. But in the vacuum, it should be okay." 🧽: "Oh... then I should say to you something... I kinda invited the dragon to visit. I mean, since she considers destroying Jupiter in any case, I still want to try to mediate diplomatically. And that neutron cannon is a backup option. So the dragon will be in the atmosphere when we might have to make a shot..." 🥽: "Wait-wait-wait, let me think, let me think... Do you perhaps have some kind of fighter jets?" 🧽: "In case of war with the red cats, yes." 🥽: "We can use it. It's easy: the pilot flies close enough. Presses the button, and teleports away, while the cannon shoots!"
