Good folk and gentle visitors,

in the posts yet to come, I shall have the pleasure of laying before you sundry scenes drawn from tales of old, gathered here and there throughout my wanderings in this wide world.

These are but other views of well-known tales, wherein I have sought those moments that seemed to me most worthy of remembrance, while changing neither their spirit nor the course of their telling.

May you receive them with good favour, and may they, perchance, kindle in you some small spark for wonders of your own making.
