EZO 34/50 | 961: The Northern Rebellion

Ten years after the destruction of House Iceburn, the North's political order broke again.

In 961, Tyron Coldheart revealed Emilia Iceburn, the family's surviving heir. Her existence overturned the belief that the dynasty had been completely destroyed in the fall of its castle.

Richard Coldheart, a sworn knight of Blackhand, opened the gates from within. Blackhand was executed during the overnight change of power.

House Iceburn returned, with Emilia restored and Tyron serving as her adviser and mentor. The Northern Wolves came back to Lamberg after their years in the forests.

The restored North possessed two Imperial practitioners and numerous Royal figures, making it the kingdom's strongest region by that measure.

Restoration did not erase the preceding decade. Emilia inherited a land marked by the fall of her house, the rule that followed and the loyalties of those who had kept the old cause alive.
