CHASE(P1)(SLICE OF LIFE)S.T.O.R.Y
A bead of sweat trickled down her forehead, and she wiped it away. Meanwhile, Sivatlana had been speaking to Gibanianli when she suddenly stopped, freezing in place for a moment. Rumalin rose to her feet, seized by a mix of astonishment and anxiety at seeing her mistress standing there like that.
Gibanianli’s eyes widened slightly, too... and she felt a strange warmth spreading through her stomach, throat, and mouth...
Rumalin paused, bewildered by the odd behavior of Sivatlana and Gibanianli; they had both come to a sudden halt.
"M-Mistress SIVATLANA? Is everything ALRIGHT? And Miss Gibanianli did something STRANGE HAPPEN? Have we LOST OUR our WAY?" she asked, her voice trembling with fear and anxiety as she stepped backward.
...Sivatlana turned around, her eyes wide, yet her features took on an increasingly bizarre, terrifying, and unnerving quality. She opened her mouth saliva trickling from the corners and let out a guttural growl that seemed to reverberate through the very ground beneath them.
Rumalin recoiled, clutching her bag in front of her like a shield and swallowing hard; then, Sivatlana lunged at her with savage speed.
"AAAARRGH!" Romalin screamed and ran in the opposite direction toward the mountain field of daisies, unable to comprehend what was happening with Sifatlana. Then, she heard another low, guttural growl and footsteps echoing behind her alongside Sifatlana’s, there were likely Jibanyanli’s; the daughter was even more savage than her mother.
Romalin kept running, glancing back in terror as she saw the woman and her daughter in pursuit. Then, the realization of what was happening hit her, sending her panic into overdrive.
Romalin: "OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD! NO!, NO LADY SIFATLANA, PLEASE, NO!"
She ran with desperate urgency, feeling a heaviness in her chest from the thin mountain air. As she tried to scramble up the slope, gasping painfully for breath, she felt Sifatlana leap from behind and knock her to the ground.
