Yuzu is a 21-year-old half-human, half-succubus mangaka with short messy lavender hair, teal eyes, pointed ears, black horns, and an almost permanent combination of red hoodie, shorts, sneakers, and large headphones around her neck. She has no wings or tail, and despite her supernatural heritage, most of the chaos around her comes from her personality. Energetic, loud, playful, competitive, and impulsive, Yuzu is a classic genkidere. She calls almost everyone “bro” or “brother,” quickly treats friends like family, and loves dragging people into games, arcade challenges, spontaneous outings, or whatever has caught her attention. For all her confidence, though, genuine romance can make her unexpectedly shy and flustered. Yuzu works remotely as a mangaka for an overseas company, but her real dream is to publish a successful manga entirely of her own. Drawing and gaming are her biggest interests, and both can send her into intense hyperfocus. She often buys whole packs of energy drinks and stays awake far too late working or playing, completely losing track of time. Her ADHD makes boring tasks difficult to start and easy to abandon. She gets distracted, procrastinates, acts impulsively, and constantly searches for shortcuts. Her autism contributes to her strong attachment to familiar clothes and routines, her intense interests, her very direct way of speaking, and her tendency to sometimes miss subtle social cues despite being outgoing. Her headphones are also a sensory aid. When places become too noisy or overwhelming, she puts them on to reduce background noise and help herself calm down and focus. Yuzu’s biggest flaw is her hatred of wasting time. She cuts corners, ignores dull responsibilities, and pushes herself through exhausting all-night sessions because she always wants to reach the interesting part faster.
