For more than four centuries, House Ravenguard has guarded a frontier shaped by Thunder Pass.

Its founder, Aegon, established the family's service in the south. Hardship, plague and rebuilding entered the house's history long before its present generation. The great fortress that followed became one of Tosava's most formidable strongholds.

The Ravenguards lost status under the Lissons, then regained ducal standing and tax privileges through King Karl. Their position remains bound to military responsibility on a poor, stony frontier facing Xin.

Andros heads a large family with several branches. Alissane, Agravain, William, Maria and other relatives bring distinct talents and ambitions to that inheritance.

Griffons and wyverns belong to the family's martial identity. Its heraldry shows a black raven upon gray rock on a gold-ochre field.
